I got the presumably earlier model, the 11s, recently. The reviews aren't kidding when they say you'll be shocked at how much these pull dirt from your carpet… I have vacuumed my Lounge every other day for 2 weeks and it's still getting so much out. My scared cat is surprisingly OK with it. You do have to have clear floors with no cords. But we have found this has just made our house tidier in general. Just this morning my mum said these are the cleanest floors she has ever seen.
We are a family of 6 with two cats. Got it running like every second day since Christmas and it has made some improvement to my emotion already! It can actually do a very good job on both carpet and hard flooring. It does get lost in the house a little bit (we named it “Dory”) or repeat in some places if you have long narrow hallway like our place, but as long as you keep the cords and loose bits tucked away, it would happily doing its own thing without you minding it so much. It may take longer than other more expensive models that can “map” your house but I would just use a normal vacuum cleaner if I want to get it done straightaway. I think it's a really good product for this price. We also love the remote, it's like having a remote control toy that cleans your house…
