"Eureka the final frontier"
5 stars"

This show will blow your mind, and open your eyes to weird science, with the journey, of Jack Carter, and his accidental mistake of taking the job of sheriff, of this town, of pure genius's.

This show has a really quirky scene of humor, that will have you laughing at the most unappropriated moments. You will love the weirdness of Tagger, the greatness of Fargo, and his ability to make bad choices, Joe the cop that can kick your ass in over 100000 ways, and Henry Deacon, the smartest mind in ‘This Little Town Called Eureka’.

Over all this is by far the best SCI-FI Channel show that is being produced, and we are looking forward to the coming seasons to come to DVD. Well earned a 5 star rating, give it a shot you will love it.

This show has a little bit of humour, a little bit scifi and a whole lotta heart. The show is set in the small Oregon town of Eureka. It centres around Jack Carter and his daughter Zoe, and the main employer Global Dynamic. Watch it and then recommend it to your friends, you'll get hooked.

Fell in love with the characters & town of Eureka pretty much immediately. Light hearted, fun, geeky, slightly twisted, off-the-wall entertainment that everyone in the family can enjoy. Can't get enough… On to Season2 … & Season3 … & Season4. In fact keep'em coming!

If you've seen Warehouse 13 then your love this show. Shame it was never played from the beginning.

"Quirky and fun"

Eureka was a surprise find. You wouldn't say it is “great” television but it is definitely fun and you will find yourself engaged with its characters and the ongoing story line.

Based on a small town set up by the Government and populated with the world's best scientists, every episode has some bizarre disaster unfolding.

Think Fringe, but with humour :)

"Quirky - average cop saves the world from Eureka."

The town is secret. There are lots of scientists inventing faboulous gizmos and potions. Of course where there is brilliance there is eccentricity and down right nut jobs. One badge to control them all – Sheriff Carter has to constantly save the brilliant from themselves. And the town from it's inhabitants. And save the world from the town while he's at it. His house is a smart house, his daughter is a delinquent. He is not the brightest bulb in Eureka…but sometimes the one with street smarts is just what the world needs. The town is quirky (the food and coffee are free if you live there…if not take out a mortgage. Everything is supplied…even the invisibility spray.

"Querky, enjoyable and very funny"
5 stars"

Welcome to Eureka the town where nothing is as it seems. I almost felt sorry for Sheriff Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) who arrived by accident and soon noticed that things are not as they seem?

In a town of geniuses – he soon realises that he may be the brightest person around and the one most capable of keeping things under control. It is soooo funny watching him trying to solve the inhabitants problems ie. A matter converter built in a basement that threatens to form a black hole and destroy the earth. Nothing major all in a days work for the new Sheriff.

"Fun comedy/drama SciFi."

Jack Carter is a US Marshall with a delinquent daughter. Through a series of accidents he becomes the local sheriff for Eureka a town of geniuses. Though occasionally suffering from “alien of the week” the stories are funny and entertaining. It is a shame that local TV never bothered showing these series but it heaps of fun and the ongoing story arc is good. The actors are relaxed and obviously enjoy themselves and the writers try to incorporate real science as much as possible or at least what they see as the logical next step. Definitely worth watching.

"Eureka is a quaint, futurist town…great TV series!"

If you missed it on TV, then have a look at it now. I missed some of the first season, my brother was the one who pointed the show out to me. So when I found it here on Mighty Ape I was stoked! Eureka is a quaint town with a scientific core. Each episode deals with some scientific experimental problem and the effects the experiments have on the town. It's a really fun show that can be watched by the entire family.
