This is a comprehensive Commentary on European insolvency law, as laid down particularly in Regulation (EC) Number 1346/2000, directly applicable in all European Member States. It is likely that the current economic crisis will lead to an increase in insolvencies in coming years, and the law of insolvency will once again be called upon to resolve the more technical issues.
