This is the second book written by noted historian of Northwest Louisiana. His books on setting up archives, history, and religion are used all around the world in over 41 countries. This book begins with John the Baptist in the New Testament on the Bible and carries the Baptist's beginning to Gainsborough, England, Providence, Rhode Island and finally in the beginning of Southern Baptists in Charleston, South Carolina. The final three chapters are Louisiana Baptist, noted Baptist Churches visited by the author, and well known Baptist preachers met by the author.
