Robyn was born in the San Francisco Bay Area. She grew up in Redding, California, with her two brothers Boyd and Cecil. Writing was always a passion for her, and she has had two poems published. After graduating from high school she spent two years living in Los Angeles. She moved back to the Bay Area in 1982, and that is when she became involved with the popular Bay Area rock band Eddie & the Tide. It was during that time she became a victim of sexual assault, coming home late one night after a band gig. Robynas friends helped her through those trying times, but in her mind she always blamed God. This is her story, how she transformed her victimization to victory by discovering the loving grace of God.
