Fans of the Human Torch can join him in his very own game with Activision and Torus Games’ FANTASTIC 4: FLAME ON for the Game Boy Advance. This side-scrolling action game follows the adventures of Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch, as he battles evil. FANTASTIC 4: FLAME ON is set up as a side story to the events portrayed in the movie, THE FANTASTIC FOUR. This means the game will include many of the characters that appear in the movie, including, of course, the other members of the Fantastic Four (Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, and the Thing) and their nemesis, Dr. Doom. As the Human Torch fights his way through the many levels full of evil, he will occasionally be forced into a boss battle against one of the Fantastic Four’s enemies. After these battles, he gains a power upgrade that unlocks new abilities or increases his stats. One of the nice facts about the game is that once players finish it, they can restart with all of their power upgrades, allowing the Human Torch to gain even more powers as he progresses through the levels again. Fans of the Fantastic Four will love FANTASTIC 4: FLAME ON. The side story reveals events that players may not have seen in the movie, and the gameplay and boss battles are very fun and challenging.
