If your looking for a fight style game with a story then....... THIS AINT IT!

Before I got this title I, like many others out there (you know who you are) checked the reviews online to see if the game was going to be worth the money I was about to spend on it, and I can tell you that about 98% of the reviews said that this title was “CRAP, The moves dont work, Its to hard to get your avatar to do what you want it to, and a lot more along the lines of that.” Well what can I say I was a convert, thought “Nah I aint gonna buy this one.” but the more I looked at it and watched trailers for it, the more I wanted it so I caved and brought it.

Game play: You dont take a normal fighting stance which is a bit orkward, you have to face the camera front on, but you get used to that. Throwing punches, again not like a real fight well sort of. Eg, to do a uppercut while you have your hands in the guard pozzie drop your hand slightly then bring it straight up to just over head height, if you dip you body and come up with your upper you will do a raising upper..... You dont have to swing like a wild man or woman :P. To do an over the top punch – from the guard pozzie just throw your hand straight up (try to touch the roof) easy. Kicks are much the same you dont have to be a 100 dan blackbelt to play this. To do a round house kick move your leg out to the side then roll your heal behind your other leg, you dont even have to spin around but I guess you could if you wanted to.

TIP: Go through the training sessions before you play, you go through the kicks, punches, and blocks here. If you watch the demo movements and do what it does then you should be fine.

So all in all this ended up be a lot of fun to play, now if your saying “if it was that much fun why only three stars?” well I play games sitting on my butt this game is a workout an a half, so for making me sweat I give it three LOL.

"Addictive fun"

Purchased on Mighty Ape

I purchased this game off the OXM 360 review because it stated the motion tracking was good and the game was fun, but it lacked any story.

This is true. The motion tracking can be a bit iffy, but this could be because of the fact the game allows you to swap out players and will actually automatically track the new player. Friends waiting behind me for a turn confused the sensor on at least one occasion. So make sure your friends wait out to the side.

For the most part the motion tracking was pretty good. The different combo's fun and it's quite a physical and fun game.

The lack of story is easily overlooked for the simple addictiveness of the gameplay.

If your looking for a change from the pg rated family friendly kinect games on the market, this game will probably be different enough and fun enough for you.
