Final Fantasy XII HD: The Zodiac Age reviews

Loved the ps2 game and being back again on the ps4 is fantastic graphical update is welldone, the changes to job system is ok too, brings an easier feel to the game by choosing a class. Ff12 had the best story driven aspect to it. I really like that in long games, it really brings it all together. Would highly recommend to anybody that wants a long game, and knowing the story gives you the goal but u are free to roam

Really good game that is a lot better than the original version.

I never played the original but I enjoyed playing through this. I had my doubts about the gambit system, but you get the hang of it rather quickly. Mostly just focused on the main story, there are a lot of other things to do, I'll probably attempt do them on another playthrough. Great game.

If you're playing it for the nostalgia you won't be disappointed. The different licence system took me a little while to warm up to but it's still the same great and massive game overall.

Dont get this game. Super disappointed. the graphics are horri-awful. The fight mechanism is weird. Hope the FF7 remake will be different.

Get it if you want to be transported to 1995.

After watching a few you tube videos I decided to give this game a go and purchased it. What I found to my displeasure,was a protagonist that quickly Became annoying, uninteresting,and was rivalled ONLY by one other in being the worst FF character EVER, and that was – Lightning.If you can't bond With the main character,half or more of the game's value and entertainment Is out of the window. What added to my disgust with this game ,was not the graphics as some Other reviews have stated,i found them very good,but rather the GAMBIT System used in combat,most of the time,it DIDN'T WORK.Characters that Were set to heal did so,when they felt like it,which usually meant,i had to Manually complete their task, resulting in characters dying,weakening The team.Also having played other FF games,7,9 etc,i fou­nd the time for Recharging an attack, RIDICULOUS to say the least,in this game. I could go on and on,but if you are interested in buying this game,DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK,better still get it 2nd hand ,(eg- mine,at the time of this Reveiw is for sale on the market place). All in all the only FF that is worse than this one is– FF13. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME.

Game was a great purchase as I played the original on PS2 and it arrived in just a few days after ordering to a rural address
