Final Fantasy XIII (Classics) reviews

The story here is some what different to previous FF games, different in a positive way and the graphics were stunning, was definitely happy to see it be available on Xbox. That being said I got pretty bored playing this game, I dunno why, most likely because I just did not care about the characters and the game engine took a fair bit to get used to. Not a complete thing, but gosh I didnt really like how your couldnt have straight forward summons like you could in the good ol days. What I did like was the introduction of the crystal growth charts, where you gain experience and you choose who to spend those points in what area which will ultimately evolve your characters into stronger fighters. I am a pretty loyal fan of this franchise and I will no doubt play the sequel at some point but I dont have the enthusiasm levels I used to aye.

I've loved the Final Fantasy series since I played V many many years ago. The games are always full of interesting storylines and colorful characters. The battle system is a bit lazy for this one though. Paradigm changes can be a tad tedious. All in all it lives up to the expectations of the Final Fantasy series.

Loads of fun and good story line. Can't wait for the sequel.

Final Fantasy have done it again… Well worth the price… Another excellent chapter in the series… A must for any Final Fantasy fan…

If you enjoy the J-RPG genre, then this game is enthralling. Story and cinematics really draw you in and the music is very beautiful. Some great characters in here, but a couple lame ones (Hope, Snow is OK). I was addicted playing through the first time, and played through again when i had all the basics mastered and wanted to get 1000G. Unfortunately a decent amount of grinding is needed to max out your characters..

Overall i loved this game. Fun combat, beautiful graphics and cinematic, a touching story and loveable characters.
