This is a big square board book with picture illustrations of words a baby would learn in his first two years. The collections of words are separated into categories: "Colors," "Things that go," "Bathtime," "Bedtime," "Mealtime," and so on. The children featured are of a variety of ethnic groups and are all very appealing. The words which name the photographs are all given in lower case, which would make this book useful for beginning readers as well. This is a very nice book for babies.
