Description

A Monster Science Created - But Could Not Destroy!

Boris Karloff stars as the screen's most memorable monster in what many consider to be the greatest horror film ever made.

Dr Frankenstein dares to tamper with life and death by creating a human monster out of lifeless body parts. But the Doctor's dreams are shattered by his creation'sviolent rage as the monster is wakes to a world in which it is unwelcome. Director James Whale adaptation of the Mary Shelley novel mixes gothic decay and chilling lyricism, and Karloff, in the role he would be identified with forever, offers a compassionate portrayal of a creature groping for identity.
