Author Biography

Tim Kevan is a barrister at 1 Temple Gardens who specialises in fraud, personal injury and sports law. Author of eight other textbooks (including XPL's Periodical Payments, Fatal Accident Claims, Kevan on Credit Hire and Sports Personal Injury and editor of www.pibriefupdate.com, he often appears on television and radio commenting on legal issues. See www.timkevan.com. Damian Ward is a Partner at Keoghs Solicitors. He read Law and Politics at the University of Birmingham, and subsequently post- graduate studies at de Montford University. He joined Keoghs in 1994, qualifying in 1996. Damian has many years' experience of claims arising from accidents or contract disputes with insurers and was a founder member of Keogh's Specialist Claims unit in 1998. James Heath is a partner at Keoghs Solicitors. He has a wealth of experience of defending fraudulent claims on behalf of insurers, including the co-ordination of major fraud rings, and assists insurers to implement counter fraud strategies / processes. He is the secretary of the Insurance Fraud Investigators Group (IFIG). Stratos Gatzouris is an Associate at Keoghs Solicitors. He came to Keoghs in 1998 having practiced as a solicitor in South Africa since 1986. He joined their specialist claims unit in 1999 and presently leads the low speed impact team. He has spoken on this subject at various conferences.
