Set in San Francisco, Full House: The Complete First Season chronicles the adventures of the Tanners, an unconventional family headed by Danny Tanner (Bob Saget), a doting father and recent widower, who’s left to raise his daughters. With his brother-in- law, wanna-be rock star "Uncle Jesse" Katsoplis (John Stamos) and his best friend and stand up comic Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier) helping out, Danny learns all about parenting three young girls, including 10-year old D.J. (Candace Cameron), five year old Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and nine - month old Michelle (Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen).

Full House: The Complete First Season features guest appearances by Kristian Alfonso (Days of Our Lives, Falcon Crest), Ed Alonzo (Saved by the Bell), comedian Phyllis Diller, Kirk Cameron (Growing Pains), singer Stacy Q and Andrea Barber, who became a regular as next door neighbor Kimmy Gibbler.
