We live in a time where we have more opportunities and information available to us than ever before. And we can in so many ways consider ourselves fortunate and grateful for this. But this can also be a source of a fair degree of our stress as this presents us with not only more choices to make but increases our feelings of wanting or needing to do more.
It can also present itself in the form that our days are filled up with a never-ending list of things to do and things still left to do. We feel rushed and stressed and hence TIME NEVER FEELS ENOUGH. And sometimes we can be left with the feeling of: How is it possible that I can be doing so much and still not feel fulfilled
An alternative to preventing burnout and feeling more fulfilled has less to do with seeking out the counsel of others and more to do with the inner work of nurturing our self awareness to understand who we truly are and what is important to us. This makes it easier to filter out all that does not serve us, make better more focused choices and in so doing, lead a more fulfilled life.
This journal has a series of self exploratory questions, similar to what a life coach would ask you, which you answer at your own pace, to help nurture your awareness of WHO you truly are and WHAT is important to you. This awareness sets you up to then start taking the steps to bring more of this into your life.
