A nice little must have. Perhaps the most important piece is the start of the river with a road terminus. This tile prevents a player from scooping a countryside filled with castles when placing a farmer early in the game.

I bought this for the Carcassonne tiles. Good value I think. And great service thank you Mighty Ape.
Bought the mag just for the Carcassone expansion tiles.
In the one I received there was no instructions on how to use them. So had to google it.
I've added them below but would have been nice for the mag to have them (or a printed sheet).
Anyway a nice cheap expansion to Carcassone (and if you love that game get this).
Rules:
Available in Games Quarterly #11.
10 tiles, 2 river tiles.
The Spring Tile replaces the spring included in the River. The road clearly separates the field on either side of the spring.
The official statement by Rio Grande says that this expansion does not add any additional rules to the basic game.
Unofficial Rule for Pig Herd Tile: At the end of the game, the player that has control of the field containing the Pig Herd scores one additional point per city.
