Author Biography

New York born Mario Martinez studied at NYU and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After military service, several years followed in films, from which he switched to work for the Catholic church in the US, UK and beyond. No longer active in fundraising, he now lives in England. Ghost of Guttersnipe - historical fiction - is his fourth book. Life experiences give Mario much to draw in his writing. To mention just a few; he's been followed by the KGB, acted with Robert Redford, socialised with Salvador Dali, been taken for 'Carlos the Jackal' in Kenya, produced a film for UNICEF in Sudan, worked for Cardinals, lived and worked with Jesuits in Ireland and was behind the Iron Curtain at the height of the Cold War.
