This card demolishes 1080p 60fps. All my games maxed with a smooth framerate. My card came with a higher boost clock than factory so I havn't bothered to oc yet.
However this card has a problem with fan buzz. When the fans start spinning they grind like crazy. If you leave the fans on fan stop mode it happens every few seconds. So you have to have the fans running basically all of the time.
The first issue is that this card only has 1, 8 pin connector therefore this card does not overclock very well despite its looks. The second issue is there is a cable hitting a fan within the gpu which is annoying but is probably exclusive to my card. Other wise this card performs how it should, looks good and has good temperatures.
Mine was sadly dead on arrival. The fans would never spin under load resulting in the card overheating. Mightyape were fantastic and I managed to get a replacement for the Asus 1070 which worked right out of the box with no issues.
