The Story of Kerry, Josie & Diana: 14–47.
Acclaimed Director Gillian Armstrong introduced us to three working class Adelaide women when they were 14 years old in 1976, and returned to follow them as they grow older in this series of documentaries. They openly discuss their lives and views on a range of issues such as abortion, sex, boys, family and work life – these are their stories.
In the five films (“Smokes and Lollies”, “14’s Good, 18’s Better”, “Bingo, Bridesmaids and Braces”, “Not 14 Again” and “Love Lust and Lies”), we see these women marry, divorce, have families of their own and face new challenges capturing the highs and lows of life’s journey.
