Description

This humorous short story collection contains Giraffe in the bath, Chimp with a limp, Spider in a glider, Hyena ballerina, Seal at the wheel and Ape's great escape. Includes a CD with charming readings of the stories, and fun puzzles at the back of the book. Perfect for reading or listening to together, or for beginner readers to read themselves.

Author Biography:

Lesley dreamed of being a writer, but studied law as her mother insisted she had "something to fall back on". Since joining Usborne Publishing, she has written and edited hundreds of books, from funny rhyming stories to an award-winning history book. Nowadays, she is often found recording books, too, in Usborne's very own recording studio. Russell Punter was born in Bedfordshire, England. As a boy he enjoyed writing and illustrating his own stories. He later trained as a graphic designer before entering publishing. Since then, he has written over ninety books for children, including original fiction and adaptations of classic novels
