This game is absolutely fantastic, as it brings out the author in all players. Highly recommended as no other game, to date, has utilized such an interesting play style.

I was first aware of Gloom after seeing an episode of Tabletop where it was played. It looked like the kind of game that was right up my alley. Over the years that I have had it for I have loved playing it with my equally dark humored friends and spinning the kind of twisted story of tragedy that could have come from Gothic literature.
Fantastic game with morbid themes and beautiful cards. Amazingly fast shipping as always!
Very interesting game that can be a lot of fun. Quite difficult to understand though so make sure you read the rules carefully.
Fast arrival and in perfect condition
This is a really fun casual role playing + story telling card game. Its small enough to just throw in your bag and carry it around anywhere you go and it's fairly easy to learn and pick up to play. If you have a bunch of friends whos always telling everyone how bad their lives are, then this would be the perfect game for them.
With a bit of creativity and imagination, Gloom is a fantastic, fast paced way to have fun with your chums.
Get your imagination into it, and weave a story around your family's misery. Fantastic, easy to learn & play.
This game is great for parents, and people with dark humour or dry wit. You need a funny bone of some kind. Think you your wierdest/wackiest friends and play this with them.
Gloom is a great game for new friends or old, The cards are top quality, The game is easy to get the hang of, Amazing replay Value.
Fantastic game – the goal is to make your family the gloomiest. Crazy characters and funny event card. Not only is there strategy to the game but you can incorporate story-telling with each card you play. Great game.
Great fun
This was a gift for my son and his family. They played it as soon as it was opened and really enjoyed it.
Gloom is just a wonderfully twisted way to kill (pun always intended) an hour with friends. The premise is the easily best aspect of the game – you make your family sad and have them die a gruesome death for points whilst making other families as happy as possible – and a close second are the cards themselves; gorgeous art printed on uniquely transparent plastic sheets. It’s also a game to get creative with as you take the prompts given and develop epic tragedies for each member of the family. No game is ever the same and no deaths were ever so fantastical in Gloom
Game itself is great, the presentation is beautiful (see through cards- awesome!) but the rules are laid out badly, and at times, make no sense.
