P.C Cast spins a beautiful story of love, mystery and magic. It is full of new worlds with Goddess/Gods. After a plan crash CC finds herself in a new world in a new mermaid body where she is being forced to marry a cruel merman. The goddess of the Earth grants her time on land where she must find true love to stay there, however she must return to the sea every thrid night or she will die. Once on land CC finds a Knight who courts her, though he is not all he appears to be and a shady abbot who they are staying with is out to ruin her. CC finds love in an unexpected place and fights a battle to be with him. AÂ truely enchanting book worth reading.
