GTA V is one of the greatest games I have ever played! It mixes an interesting story with great graphics, great sound and dialogue, one of the largest and most detailed worlds ever to be made in a game, numerous unique side missions and activities, realism and straight up unstoppable FUN!!!

I don't like how people rate it before a release. Yes it has been good in the past, but how can you rate something before release. Rant over lol.

I got it yesterday, and my first though was “sloppy”. The driving is good, but gun play is very sloppy. Why could they not have integrated the shooting from a successful shooter like COD rather than still having a shooting set up 10 years old.

Missions – same goes. Driving missions are great, shooting missions are sloppy.

Characters – All seem good and with a good story line – my favourite is Michael.

Map – Amazing detail and very cool. Again it is massive and sometimes frustrating to drive from one side of the map to the other to get to a mission start point. Granted I could take a taxi but who buys a game to get a taxi all over the place.

All in all it is a good game, but I think I will get bored with it pretty quick.

One of the most highly anticipated video games since ‘Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’. I must admit, I was slightly skeptical regrading delivery time, As I had planned to go the midnight release. However, MightyApe has always delivered on time and they certainly didn't disappoint, Once again. Arrived just before 10am on the day of release. Got to hand it to you, That's truly impressive. If you haven't tried this game, You're honestly missing a necessity towards your collection. This is the BEST game I have ever had the pleasure of playing, Not even remotely exaggerating. If you don't believe me, Just try it. I will continue to purchase all my gaming needs off MightyApe simply because they're consistently cheap and the delivery estimation is always on point. Perfect game, Perfect Service. 10/10 .

Truely outstanding, GTA IV was a little disapointing in some respects, but this has brought the series back to what it should be. FUN! and outlandish, with an interesting story that pokes fun at it's environment. Recomend for any gamer.

It was set be huge, and it succeeded, undoubtedly. The best game i have played in my life, nothing really compares to this game (IN MY OPINION), skyrim used to be my all time favourite and now that game has been left to dwell in a dark cuboard until my grandchildren dust it off and then use it as a mirror -_- god dammit franklin what have i told you about using my antiques as mirrors and toys. " but you still play that other antique, Grand Teft Auto", sigh “there is a story i must show you franklin, pick up that remote, im going to teach you a thing or two about the real world”

This game lives up to expectaions!

As expected from, what I believe, as the best story telling game companies. Very good story but not enough. The game felt too short for a GTA game, not only that but after the story has been completed there is basically nothing to keep the game interesting. “Watered down” pretty much sums this game up

EDIT – Is that Jason guy for real--- He downgrades his review because he thinks it should have the shooting set-up / system from COD!!--- Um, COD is 1st person. It is an FPS. GTA V is third person… so, um, can you ****ing spare us your ‘reviews’ moron- Cheers…

Is this game too good- I am 100% addicted to it… It is one of the few games that gets better and better as you play..... It is incredibly deep and variable… Endlessly filled with WTF!!-- moments and movie-worthy (or even far superior to) scenes and occurrences, many of your own invention and hilarious deviousness.....

But given that those chinese guys played it for five days straight, never went to the toilet or ate and all but one of them died..... And the fact that I have played it till I fell asleep with the controller in my hand on four different occasions now… I am truly driven to ask the question… Is this game too addictive…- and why should ps4 and the next-gen even bother- They will look flashy and good, but they will not have the full-blown gameplay and game machanics-perfection that this game entails and revels in… It is the perfect storm and the culmination of years of work and the desire to max out every tiny inch of performance from this current-gen hardware.

There is the main game… There is the online… Then there is the online missions, racing, survival..... There is the shopping for clothes and tattoos etc (do not laugh as I do this a lot)… For cars..... Using your phone and the online web within the game..... The options on how to play and how you play with others… It is just a gamer's dream. Many of those I play with still don't ‘get it’ or play ‘properly’, and this is because it is asks a lot of you and requires genuine intelligence to play efficiently and well..... Finally!!!!!

But I sincerely warn anyone who has an addictive personality, or is an addictive gamer, this is the MOST compulsively playable and devastatingly addictive game of all-time. It is just so good. It is almost ridiculous. It doesn't have a metacritic average of 96% for nothing… I loved red dead redemption… But this game makes that game look silly.. A shallow underwhelming and limited title… Which is crazy given how good that title was.

In the story mode however, the lead characters are, apart from the african-american young guy, complete wastes of space and emotionally-uninvolving (bar perhaps hating them, especially red-neck Trevor)… That, despite this, I ended up largely not caring about what should be a huge downside, just speaks volumes about the perfection of the remainder of the game. It is a powerhouse title and PS3's finest hour. Hands down. Any open world game now has an absolute mountain to climb… And perhaps an impossible task to try to even emulate a quarter of what GTA V has to offer… Far Cry 3 was so amazing for instance… Yet, now I do not know what to make of it in comparison.

This is got to the worst gta ever(storyline wise and online), from gta 3(plus san andreas vice city, vice city stories, liberty city stories to 4 it had a better story line than 5. Comparing gta 5 to san andreas cant buy housing properties where on san andreas you can buy any which has a green property logo where on gta 5 cant buy multiple homes only other properties certian to a specific player( eg this property can only be brought for trevor ) and on online you can only buy one house property.

As the above sentence states I dont think I need to say anymore. If you're a fan of the GTA series this is just another funfilled fantasy game where you'll spend many hours of your life. Its great, fantastic even, the best one yet! Well not quite, I dont think it can surpass the lunacy of San Andreas but its a damn close 2nd! It is a hell of a lot better than GTA iV. The wswitching between the 3 characters is such a great way to break the repetativeness of these sort of games. Franklin, who is a gangsta suprisngly trying to somewhat get on the straight and narrow, is probably my least favourite. With the Meth Dr and Stressed out father of 2 being my equal winners. I dont know what it is about micheal that is so fun, but it just is-! Its obvious why Trevor the Meth Man is so much fun, hes a redneck trying to make it big in the drugs industry and hates just about everything that isnt sadistic, sickning or insanely stupid! The robbing of banks, wow just wow, loved every single one! even though some take a ridiculous amount of time to plan! I must say the one thing I wish they had included in this game was the ability to rob any store you walked into, and not just take the money in the till but wipe the place clean. Multiplayer is a heck of a lot of fun! just increases the addiction and amount of time youll spend infront of that screen instead of socialising. I loved it, still am loving it! 10/10 1111/1111 just brilliant!

Was worth the days off work to play it, Pre Ordered it and waited for the release, Love the game play and story. Worth the 5 Stars. Once you go GTAV you'll never go back.

I knew it was going to be great even before I started playing it, but it was amazing discovering just how much detail and hard work has been put into this game. 10/10, would recommend!

This is a great game and is a must buy

Awesome game. The story is pretty average but still really good, and online multiplayer with your friends is an absolute riot. We have so much fun playing together, we end up staying up to ridiculous hours playing it. Rockstar desperately need to fix the freeze/crash issue though, because it really ruins the fun.

If you like the other GTA games then you'll love this one, not much more to say

After a few problems with the game and glitches, the game is very well done, There were some missions that did suck though. Online is fix now and is very fun. Graphics are not the best but i guess they couldn't push the ps3 any more. Can't wait to see how it looks on pc

At 40 hours i've just finished the story, i still have so much to do before the online component goes live, this game is truly amazing a massive map full of life, great gameplay, great story and so much to do. GTA V is the perfect game.

If you are a fan of the earlier games, then you will just love GTA V. I bought this for my husband for his birthday as he was playing GTA San Andreas again and enjoying it, now that he has 5, he is ‘NEVER’ going back. (His Words.) The graphics are great, the story carries well and there is so much you can do if you want to just chill in a whole different reality. I sneak on from time to time, just to go driving, steal cars and use the submarine, just for fun.

Both offline and online, i rate this game highly. From missions to free roaming, it has it all with a well put story line with the offline, from missions, free roaming and bounty hunting (watch it, someone may put a bounty on your head, even the jacked civillian can place one on you) you will be counting on wasting hours on this game enjoying every minute of it. im a fussy rater, but this game def gets a 5-star from me :) buy and enjoy people

This needs to be remade and some things need to added that were in GTA SA, other than that, pretty good game

If your not a fan you should be. Better missions now , basically putting together a team like the Oceans 11.12.13 movies so missions are fun to do. Generally just a great game to have , if you haven't got it already your a fool.

got this game on release day and havent stopped playing it and still haven't finished it. can go anywhere and hold up stores at gun point. the world is fully exploreable right from the start unlike other GTA games. excellent work rockstar
