Unlike the usual fictional movies like Star Wars & Star Trek, Gravity defines a realistic scenario that closely matches with its real-life 21st Century counterpart.
Would recommend it to all.

Gripping in 3D. I saw this in 2D at the movies and regretted it. Home cinema 3D makes this a truly immersive movie.. Made for 3D without the clichés .. If you like 3D at home this is a ‘must have’.
This movie is quite different from the many famous sci fi movies such as Star Wars, Star Trek etc. This movie takes more of a realistic approach to sci fi and delivers to the audience the daily difficulties and dangers of living in space. An excellent choice of actors and the visuals are stunning with spectacular visual effects but it has one problem, well one problem for me. It's boring. Halfway through watching it I was tempted to leave the cinema, the ending is really not worth it and rather underwhelming as well as confusing misleading plot points but it's always great to see new takes on the sci fi genres. Not a must watch but something out of the ordinary if you are tired with other sci fi movies
Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone – tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into darkness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
