Green Stuff World: Crystal Clear Crackle Paint (20ml)

Crackle Paint – Crystal Clear is a fast-drying Paint that cracks as it dries to create an eggshell cracking pattern in just 1 step. No need to apply multiple coats of Paint. A unique product which will create amazing transparency or weathered effects.

It is a water based paint with a semi-transparent finish that could be used alone, with PVA glue, or even tinted with Inks or Paints.

Add a bit of PVA glue on the surface before the crackle paint to help to increase the grip and the size of the cracks. Surfaces with some grip or already primed may not need any glue. Take into account that excessive PVA glue will not allow cracks to appear. Also, too irregular or very small surfaces may affect the size of the cracks.

Apply direct or with a brush. Depending on the thickness of application might get different size of cracks. Do not use a heat gun to speed up the drying process, just let it dry naturally.
