I'd heard good things about this clock but didn't want to get my hopes up. After a bout of illness and a new “big girl bed” our toddler was getting up several times every night. Out of desperation we bought this clock despite the big price tag. First night she only got out of bed once, same the second night. By the third night she was sleeping through until 6:30am and now she sleeps 8pm-8am. I am seriously in love with this clock and will be buying them for lots of coming birthday presents :-)
I think the concept is great however the stars that count down through the night aren't prominent enough and the blue background lighting is so bright it lights up the whole bedroom which I feel is adversely effecting my sons sleep.
How do you get your children to understand when it's time to get up? SIMPLE “stay in bed until you see the sun!”
