His portraits showcase beauty for beauty's sake, even in some of the more extreme photographs documenting the 'creative' category where the dog's hair or fur is manipulated into shapes or scenes and dyed different colours.

Author Biography

Paul Nathan was born in Auckland New Zealand. He has a degree in Art History and Art Theory from the University of Canterbury and has studied at Sotheby's in London and the International Centre for Photography (ICP) in New York. His editorial work has been published in books, magazines, and newspapers around the world. Jorge Bendersky became a celebrity dog groomer soon after moving to New York from his native Argentina. Today he is one of Manhattan's most sought-after groomers, trimming and fluffing the four-legged 'children' of many of the city's elite. His clients include Ralph Lauren and Sean (Diddy) Combs as well as top models, notable actors, and infamous billionaires.
