In 2011, Axle Contemporary created the Haiku Roadsign Project: 32 Haiku by New Mexico-based poets, 2 per week on a portable roadsign in 16 locations around the streets of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Includes photos, poems, and essays by Matthew Chase-Daniel & Jerry Wellman, Joan Logghe, and Laura Addison.

Author Biography:

Axle Contemporary was founded in 2010 by artists Matthew Chase-Daniel and Jerry Wellman, as a collaborative work of art, and an innovative vehicle for arts distribution. It has since grown beyond the confines of the mobile exhibition space, and also includes forays into book publishing, web-based exhibits, and other alternative venues for expanded and creative art exhibition.
