I didn't grow up with this book, but I have heard fond memories from people who did. Now I am reading this to my baby everyday; he seems to like it.
It's a book that I grew up with and cherished. It's such a fantastic remember-able little gem of a book, and would make a great gift to any young one.
This is a classic story written by a local kiwi, which children love and can easily follow from a very young age. The repetition helps children learn and the characters are all very likeable.
