"Rob Zombie masterpiece"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Such a dark twisted world Rob Zombie unravels in this movie. Watch this right before Halloween II. Also ask Lori if she will marry me…

"Well crafted if it was another film. But it's no Carpenter."
2 stars"

If you took away the character names and title of this film it woudl be a pretty decent horror flick. As it is, Rob Zombie proves that “retelling” a story does not make it better. The truely horrific thing about Carpenter's Halloween was that Michael Meyers had no back story he was just a little boy that snapped. No trailer park home, no stripper mom, just evil. That made it scary. All this film pushes is pre-teen angst makes serial killers, which is neither evil nor terrifying, just sad.

Again, Halloween was not a bad film, but did not pay homage to the original which still holds its own against modern horror films and was in no need up updating. it mearly mocked it from a distance.

"Another Wicked Movie by Rob Zombie"

I love Rob Zombie, too me he can't do any wrong. He never fails to add gore and guts and this movie is no exception. He's resurrected the meaning of horror within the Halloween knock offs. He's made this movie more personal then the others and he's done it well. It gives you a good insight to the story behind Michael Myers and why he is the way he is. It's a great movie, it even had a friend of mine screaming and had me looking away in some parts. Rock on Rob Zombie!
