Description

Chyna is an eighteen year old stripper and her thirty two year old mother Roxy is a former member of the Chris Styles Crew (CSC), a powerful drug gang that controlled Harlem and the South Bronx in the late eighties and early nineties. Set in 2006, years after the demise of CSC, Roxy, the ultra sexy gangstress must find a new way to support her fast money lifestyle. She masterminds a successful Harlem based Gun Trafficking ring which she dubs Harlem Heat (hence heat is a slang word for guns). By any means necessary, the attractive high heel wearing mother-daughter duo of Roxy and Chyna are determined to keep Harlem Heat thriving and overcome anyone who crosses them, including; rivals, snitches, and the federal investigation that comes their way. The mother-daughter duo, soon find themselves on the run from the law. But during a night of heavy drinking and weed smoking, Roxy has a major lapse in her judgment that puts her daughter's loyalty to her to the ultimate test.

Author Biography

Mark Anthony learned to love both books and mountains during childhood summers spent in a Colorado ghost town. Later he was trained as a palaeoanthropologist but along the way grew interested in a different sort of human evolution - the symbolic progress reflected in myth and the literature of the fantastic. He undertook the LAST RUNE series to explore the idea that reason and wonder need not exist in conflict. Mark Anthony lives and writes in Colorado. 50 Cent (a.k.a. Curtis Jackson) is a record-breaking rap recording artist, entrepreneur, music producer, and actor. His debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin', sold more than 12 million units worldwide, is certified eight times platinum, and was the basis for the semi-autobiographical film of the same title, in which he starred. He is the first artist to have four songs in the top ten of Billboard's Hot 100 since the Beatles in 1964. He published his memoir, the New York Times bestseller From Pieces to Weight, which was hailed as "cool, hard, and vivid, a minor classic of gangster rap noir" (The New York Times). He is also the author of Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter. Under the G-Unit brand, his business empire includes a record label, apparel and footwear ventures, vitamin water, and more. He created the nonprofit organization The G-Unity Foundation, which aims to better the life of urban youth. Follow him on Twitter and Instagram at @50cent.
