Three copies, the bluray disc for self, the dvd for the parents (who don't own a bluray, yet) and a digital copy for the kids – so thoughtful!

This was a very worthwhile purchase from Mightyape! Not only does it come with a Blu-Ray version, but it also includes the DVD for those that don't have Blu-Ray, not to mention a free digital copy to download and watch too!
Thank you Mighty Ape :)
Great movie – very “dark” in colour, but thats the mood of the movie.
I won't write much about the movie or Blu-ray because people probably know about both of them by now. The production quality of the movie is high enough to show up well on the HD presentation, so that's nice. The extra features are all bit average, so that's no change from the other HP movies.
The Warner Bros free digital copy really is quite awful though. It is an internet download, and it's time limited, although I expect the time limit is on when I can download it. Also, it only works with the Windows Media Player.
The download starts by installing extra software into Windows Media Player. The system that did this had some odd looking windows and it seemed to be a bit crude, but it worked. After that it then had to download the program that did the downloading. Once I had this program running, the download of the movies started. That's right. Since I wanted to watch the digital copy on portable devices as well as my computer I had to download the movie twice. My internet connection is somewhere between two and four times faster than DSL broadband connection, so it only took an hour or two to download.
At this point I got confused about which programs on the PC did a proper job of playing the video and put the Blu-ray disk in my PS3 and watched that.
In contrast, a friend gave me his digital copy of The A-Team, which is a special DVD from Fox that supports Windows Media Player and iTunes. I put it in the DVD drive and iTunes said “That looks like a digital copy. If you give me printed code that comes with it, I'll load the movie into your iTunes library”. Several minutes later, it was all done.
Quite frankly, Warner Bros free digital copies are worth what you pay and everyone else's free digital copies are nice.
