I absolutely love this chess set it has so much detail and so realistic. A fantastic Christmas gift for the whole family!
This Noble Collection collectable chess set is an astonishing recreation of the ‘Final Challenge’ chess set as seen in the movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. The beautiful 32 die-cast zinc chess pieces are made to exact detail and measure from 6.5cm to 14cm tall. The set comes with a beautiful playing-board display measuring 50 cm x 50 cm. Harry Potter fans will cherish this chess set by Noble for years to come.
Authentic movie replica crafted by The Noble Collection.

This is the best chess set I've ever seen.
It is beautiful, and detailed, and I haven't had it long, but it all feels
really solid like it's going to last.
It's not just for Harry Potter fans either.
It's really for anyone who wants a big amazing chess set that will draw
attention in any room of your house.
If you can afford to spend this kind of money on a chess set then look no
further.
This set is an impressive collectable, and it's practically art.
It looks that good!

“Have little doubt, this product is BEAUTIFUL. And the size is impressive (when the box arrived, I was shocked at how big and heavy it was, and literally astounded when I opened it up and saw the board and pieces). The detail is largely very precise, and very well crafted, even being a product manufactured in China (if that bothers anyone). The board itself has to be at least 15 pounds. The outside borders and legs (all covered in great details) feels like some sort of metal, and is undoubtedly where the majority of the weight lies. The actual checkered board is a plexiglass plate held in place by three wooden strips underneath the board. It has a faux marble print on it, covered in a high sheen. When looked at closely, you can see the pixelation of the print, and the thin borders between each rank and file, but starting just a few inches back, the pattern looks simply awesome. Now, the pieces are where the most greatness of this product is. When I first saw the board, I was impressed. But when I opened up the protective box of the pieces and saw them, I couldn't help but say, "Oh WOW!” Ranging up to 5 1/2 inches tall, their size is shocking (but great). Each piece is so cool, and looks very much as each piece in chess should. Even with this being a themed set, it's not a case (like with Noble Collection's Lord of the Rings set) where the pieces are styled after characters, and therefor difficult to remember what is what. In this set, the knight looks like a knight (perhaps one of the coolest pieces at that), the rook looks like a rook, the bishop looks like a bishop. This is what makes the set truly timeless. The pieces are solid, feel like stone, and are just great. But be careful in removing them from their protective packaging! They are in there very tightly, and some parts on the pieces (such as the knight's weapon, the bishop's staff, or shields) demand great care, as they can be fragile under the wrong conditions! And the size of the pieces can sometimes make gameplay a bit awkward (especially the knight, which takes up more space than its square affords), but as the board is already so large, I wouldn't really want it to be any bigger to fit the pieces better. The issue is tolerable. There were a couple very minor flaws with a couple of my pieces (a touch of gold paint missing on one of my rook's shields, etc.)[…].Even with the minor faults, this is TRULY a great set. It's gotten nothing but great praises from everyone who has seen it. If you can snag it during a sale, great! But even if you purchase it at full price, you can definitely see why the set runs such a price tag as it does.A great buy, for a great collectors item that can be passed down and admired/enjoyed for years to come!"
