Description

India has become one of the world's deadliest countries for reporters. Assassinations include journalists who have spoken out against Hindu extremists; as well criticising Hindu nationalism and its leading exponent, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. Hate crimes against Muslims is another matter of grave concern in India; as well as gender inequality and sexual violence – the rape and murder of young girls shaming the nation. The ongoing Naxalite Maoist insurgency is another problem in India; also in view of the 2019 Gadchiroli Naxal Attack, where 16 policemen were killed, which is unacceptable and counterproductive – as the solutions to improve social equality can only be found in a political process; meaning through dialogue and peaceful political reforms. Hence this book endeavours to improve social equality, human dignity and civil liberties in India – as well as to improve peacebuilding in the Kashmir region, the Kashmir conflict between Pakistan and India being scary and heart-breaking in equal measure.

The invasion has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths on both sides and caused Europe's largest refugee crisis since World War II, with an estimated 8 million people being displaced within the country by late May, as well as 7.8 million Ukrainians fleeing the country as of 8 November 2022. Within five weeks of the invasion, Russia experienced its greatest emigration since the 1917 October Revolution. The United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution condemning the invasion and demanding a full withdrawal of Russian forces. The invasion has also caused global food shortages. Furthermore, the International Criminal Court has opened an investigation into crimes against humanity in Ukraine since 2013, including war crimes in the 2022 invasion. So I expect my colleagues in the Government of Russia to make Peace with Ukraine - and uphold the Legacy of Peace by Mikhail Gorbachev and Boris Yeltsin - by working together with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to restore basic Human Rights and International Law in the International Community. As the acting president of Российская Федерация, I am giving the order to the Russian Armed Forces to withdraw from Ukraine. In short, we encourage all Russian troops to come back home to their loved ones in Russia - so that Peace can be manifested, and we can all live happy and fulfilling lives: ) God Bless / С Новым Годом и c Рождеством / Happy New Year / Love and Light Acting president of Russia and the United States, Mark O'Doherty / BTB-Global Peacebuilding
