On 13 April the Health Ministry updated Israel’s number of confirmed coronavirus cases to 11,235, including 181 in serious condition and 133 people on ventilators. Another 168 people were in moderate condition, the ministry said, adding that 1,689 had recovered and that the rest were displaying mild symptoms. More than 7,000 of those diagnosed with the disease are being treated at home. The Health Ministry warned Israelis against backsliding from practicing social distancing and observing quarantine restrictions, saying the coronavirus could come back with a vengeance. Health officials are projecting that Israel will fall short of testing 10,000 people a day for the coronavirus in the immediate term because of a shortage of a key reagent. From my side I wish the people of Israel all the best, and that Israel is healed from the coronavirus as soon as possible.
