Description

Herbert was a small dog who lived in Nelson by the sea. Everybody loved him, but the person who loved him most was his owner, Tim. One fine day, an excited Herbert sets off on a boat with Tim's father, heading for the Marlborough Sounds. However, what no one knew was that the weather would soon turn rough and Herbert would be thrown into the biggest adventure of his life.

This heart-warming story, written and illustrated by Robyn Belton, one of New Zealand's most accomplished illustrators of children's books, tells the true story of a young boy's beloved dog and his real life adventure at sea. Herbert is beautfully illustrated with watercolour images and is destined to become a Kiwi children's classic.
