I love this series! the first season is just pure brilliance! while the second is alright, not as good as the first season and quite short but i still enjoyed it very much. Then comes the third season the first half of the third season is just a muddle, there are things that would have been better if they just left it out. But the second half pulled it together and ended in a gripping season finale!!
Worth the costs!
The first two seasons were my favourites. the third kind of kept dragging out its story line which was rather annoying. The only other thing I didnt like about the series was the fact that the picked up characters and dropped characters without warning. Other than that I loved it. Fantastic series Exciting and Interesting. Awesome range of powers.
If you are a fan of heroes then this is easily the cheapest (legal) way to get your hands on the first three seasons. Heroes is a program you either love or you hate so if you havn't seen the show on tv then buying all three seasons at once may be a big risk. It has been so long since seasons one and two were shown on nz tv so while watching season three i was often confused as to why something was the way it was. I bought this so i could watch all three seasons back to back and i have to say that theres a lot of forshadowing in the first season that you wouldnt pick up on if you hadnt seen the 2nd and 3rd seasons. The bonus content on the dvds leaves something to be desired but just because it isnt to my taste doesnt mean it isnt to yours.

But thanks to its well-drawn characters and intricate plot, this drama reels in more than just superhero fans. Heroes revolves around the premise of seemingly ordinary people developing fantastic powers.
