Author Biography:

Mark Gosling has been teaching history since 1997 and has been an A Level examiner for over 10 years. He has written in the My Revision Notes and History + for Edexcel A Level series and has been a contributor to Access to History Online and Twentieth Century Review. At present Mark is Assistant Headmaster at Victoria College in Jersey. Dr Andrew Flint is a former Head of History at the Stephen Perse Foundation, Cambridge and currently teaches History at Hills Road Sixth Form College, Cambridge. His main research interests are the modern American Presidency, the Christian Conservative movement and China under Mao. He has published in these areas in Presidential Studies Quarterly, 20th Century History Review and Hindsight. Peter Clement is a retired Head of Humanities with an M Phil in Educational Research and MAs in American Studies and Education. He is an experienced examiner at 'A' level and GCSE. He has written titles in the Access to History, History + for Edexcel A Level and My Revision Notes series. Robin Bunce is a historian of political thought based at Cambridge University. He is currently Director of Studies for Politics at Homerton College, and a Fellow in History at St Edmund's College. His most recent work focuses on Black Power as an ideology and a movement in Britain. Sarah Ward is an experienced A Level teacher and examiner and currently completing a DPhil in History at St. Catherine's College, University of Oxford. She is part of the Modern History Review editorial team.
