An excellent model, beautifully presented by Hornby. My only disappointment is that Hornby decided the brakes on the leading drivers could not be modelled.
Happy to say the service received from Mighty Ape, and from their delivery contractor, was also excellent. The model arrived safely and securely packed.
As a fairly well informed railway modeller, I think my version of “Sir William Stanier FRS”, purchased from Mighty Ape, was the last one available anywhere in the world.
Informatively, Hornby have announced a re-run, so get in quick with your pre-order if you want one.
