Description

Having escaped from the communist country of Albania in the 40's, my folks lived in the refugee camps of Greece where I was born. Finding their way eventually to America with the hopes of the American dream after many moves, landed in Illinois where I had lived most of my life. My family encompassed of five boys and three girls raised with a mild understanding of, but firm Moslem background. My dad getting jobs in the restaurant industry introduced me to the restaurant business. At the age of twenty I married, at twenty-two I bought my first restaurant, and at twenty-four when I came to the end of myself, I found Jesus in a real way. I'm still married to my wife Paige of thirty-two years, having raised six children and now have five grandchildren plus one on the way, still living for our Lord. This book is a compiling of my personal testimonies of my witness of the glories and manifestations and many wonderful things both small and great that God has done with me, my family and those people or things that my life touched. My carnal understanding of serving God meant in a pulpit or wearing a collar. It all changed when I met Jesus. I share of my conversion and how God takes the ordinary life of an ordinary person and reveals 'His Kingdom' in your midst I found that we could serve God in whatever capacity or vocation God has called us to. Our mission field is in our everyday places with the everyday people our path crosses. We can experience 'abundant life living' in daily practical situations and needs. God will continue to prove his faithfulness to his servants that seek after his face.
