Human Frailty
Hunters & Collectors’ fourth studio album was the commercial breakthrough that they had long promised finally coming to fruition. It was the band’s first Gold certified New Zealand Top 10 album reaching #5 initially driven by the success of ‘Say Goodbye’ in February 1986 and then cemented with a re-recorded version of ‘Throw Your Arms Around Me’ (originally recorded in 1984), and which has since gone on to become a bona fide classic, placing 2nd in Triple J’s Hottest 100 of All Time and included in APRA’s Top 30 Australian Songs of All Time. ‘Human Frailty’ also includes ‘Everything’s On Fire’ and ‘Is There Anybody In There?’.
