What do you get when you cross David Bowie with Skins- Hunky Dory highlights the best of the 70s music with theatrical flair and musical mastery. Aneurin Barnard's voice and presence dominates proceedings and Minnie Driver is excellent as the teacher assigned to alleviate apathy in the drama department. You'll never hear Man Who Sold The World delivered with unique panache or spunkiness as in this film. ELO's music gets a good outing via Barnard. Highly recommended.
