Description

Hunt For Red October: Invisible. Silent. Stolen.

Based on Tom Clancy's bestseller, directed by John McTiernan (Die Hard) and starring Sean Connery and Alec Baldwin, The Hunt For Red October seethes with high-tech excitement and sweats with the tension of men who hold Doomsday in their hands. A new technologically-superior Soviet nuclear sub, the Red October, is heading for the U.S. coast under the command of Captain Marko Ramius (Connery). The American government thinks Ramius is planning to attack. A lone CIA analyst (Baldwin) has a different idea: he thinks Ramius is planning to defect, but he has only a few hours to find him and prove it - because the entire Russian naval and air commands are trying to find him too. The hunt is on

Widowmaker:
Harrison Ford delivers one of his most powerful performances in this riveting action-drama inspired by a true story.

At the height of the 1960s Cold War, Russia launches its flagship nuclear submarine, the K-19. In command is iron willed Captain Alexei Vostrikov. Also aboard is the popular executive officer Mikhail Polenin, who clashes with the Vostrikov but shares his unwavering patriotism. As the K-19 heads toward American waters, a shocking discovery is made: the vessels nuclear reactor system is leaking, imperilling the men and the subs missiles. With time running out, the fearless Vostrikov and his crew join together as brave countrymen who must decide the true meaning of duty, honour and sacrifice.
