I Want Someone To Eat Cheese With
A cast of fine comic actors bring warmth, humour and poignancy to this quirky Chicago-set film. Curb Your Enthusiasm's Jeff Garlin is James, a frustrated and underappreciated Chicago actor who lives with his mother and hasn't had a relationship with a woman in five years.
Incredibly picky about the roles he plays, James hasn't landed many acting jobs recently either. James wants three things in life: someone to love him, a great acting part, and to lose weight. Unfortunately, he is 0 for 3. An aborted attempt at attending an Overeaters Anonymous meeting, leads the rotund actor to a random ice cream parlor, where he finds himself in a surprising flirtation with the cute-but-somewhat-unhinged Beth (Sarah Silverman). Thoroughly smitten, James' strange relationship with Beth throws a whole different light on a chance encounter with a jazz-fan and teacher (Bonnie Hunt) in a local record store.

- " It's a nice little movie. " – Richard Roeper
- " The cameos and local details, and even some of the gags, keep it perky. " – Jonathan Rosenbaum
