Danny found it strange just how many memories from the 1940s and '50s coalesced in his mind daily. The months leading to him arriving at the care home were vague. His obituary eventually described him as `an entrepreneurial pop maestro of the '60s and '70s, [receiving an] OBE for services to British music and his charity work for the Royal British Legion'.He had money, a fondness for young ladies and was still renowned as one of the best wet job operatives on the book. In 1967, one of Danny's protegees, lead singer Alan Thompson, suddenly disappeared. Journalist Jan Dale is determined to reveal what happened, convinced Danny is linked.
