While I don't think Inside Out is anywhere near as bad as one reviewer thinks, it is not up to the standard of Pixar's top shelf offerings. Nevertheless, the movie probably offers more for adults than wee ones. Sure there are laughs along the way, but this film really deals with loss, sadness, and depression. It works incredibly well at showing how emotions can rule us, and ultimately how they inevitably lead to the loss of childhood innocence.
