< b> < i> INSPIRATION, < /i> < /b> as the name implies is a stimulation of emotions; the strong feelings of human mind. As such the content of this book, Inspiration-Speak Your mind, happens to be an in depth feelings experienced, as remembered from my childhood to the time of writing and completion of this work. < br> < br> The poem, Sweet Mother on page 39, is a true story. A situation, according to my mother4s account, where I was circumcised on a day tabooed in my culture and child circumcision was forbidden. I had consequently bled out the little young blood and having tried everything they could at the church alter to no avail my mother said she had challenged God when everyone left with no hope that I would survive. < br> < br> The faithfulness in her as the Christian she is poised her not to give up hope, and hence applied the same palm oil again and I finally came back to live. The obvious genocide of the Ogoni ethnic group, a small but one of the richest in the world, though made impoverish and confines to a state of beggardom by the brutish Nigerian Government and Shell, is no doubt fresh in our memory. < br> < br> There are several other pieces that relates typically to my life. Others are purely artistic. I have tried very concertedly to evoke these experiential feelings with the hope that society would take introspective and retrospective looks at the every day living, looking at culture, tradition, laws, and policies and try to do away with those that does not help our subsistence. < br> < br> Also that governments around the globe would reexamine their relationship with the different people they rule, especially their handling of minorities, so-called, and would as well encourage and/or compel multinationals like Shell, Chevron, etc, to go back to their drawing boards with the sole aim of changing their vexing policies (as draconian or obnoxious as they are), particularly as these policies affects the so-called underdeveloped nations alone. < br> < br> The situation presently in Ogoni/Niger Delta of Nigeria, and the middle East saga points to the fact that the insensitive Nigerian Government; western governments, so-called supra powers have no good intentions for the underprivileged in the communities, countries where the oil and gas they use in running their nations are carted without compensation. All that matters to them and the companies, especially Shell, is the unhindered flow of crude oil and gas. < br> < br> Not the perils to/death of the population; porous, fragile, and endangered ecosystems caused by reckless oil exploitation. But, experience has shown however, how dangerous it is to continue to ignore the commoners and their just demand for justice. < br> < br> On the other hand a critical view at the different pieces of the artistical and/or crafted work will definitely avail each and every individual the opportunity to see himself/herself in the workings of the art, working of this book. It is about love, romance, hate, politics, oil, environment, peace, human relations, commitment, courage, hope, faith, human fate, etc. < br> < br> This work of poetry which literary analysis and criticizes Man4s intents and relationship toward fellow Man, particularly how the mighty, powerful, and money brags deal their devastating and deadly blows to the weak, poor, and disadvantaged, is written that you find some time to reassess life as you enjoy its flow, and apply to your everyday situation and also sit back and listen to the sad and painful rhythm that echoes therefrom. < br> < br> Page 89 through 91 treats you to the words of wisdom and their meanings from our forefathers. Our forefathers were very wise, hence their powerful and motivational sayings. As you spin through the core of the book4s reality the words of wisdom awaits you as a guide to feel, understand, apply and be cautious in every
