Beginning Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Iron Man 3 is a fantastic start. The films acts as a sequel to both Iron Man 2 and The Avengers with Tony struggling to cope with stress. Then in comes the Mandarin.
Iron Man 3 is witty, thoughtful, action packed film which is a whole lot of fun with great performances by RDJ and Sir Ben Kingsley!
Shane Black makes the most he can from the Iron Man mythology. However this is divided in being a full on Shane Black flick or a Marvel sequel. I also still believe Ben Kingsley's Mandarin would have been one of Marvel's most memorable villains, which is the area the franchise suffers from the most.
A very good “Iron Man” in the series. I especially liked the way the classic Iron Man foe, The Mandarin, was portrayed – very innovative and a totally unexpected twist and departure from the comic-book story! The multiple Iron Men showed us that you can never be really sure who is inside the armour and kept us guessing several times. An above average addition to the series.

Yes I gave this DVD 5 stars, it was very entertaining, not just for my grandson & son but I also enjoyed it very much. Was good to see a super hero that suffered anxieties just like real people do, sure made me laugh at times & yes I'd watch it again!
Has all the usual Iron Man stuff that I love but feels a bit “hollow” and loses it's way toward the end. It all feels a bit rushed as if they ran out of money so just finished the movie as quickly as possible. 7 out of 10 only!
