Description

This book examines Israeli-Jordanian relations from the end of 1967 war until the 1994 signing of the Treaty of Peace, with a special emphasis on the 1967-1988 period. Its underlying theme is that, despite the formal state of war between them, the two countries engaged in functional cooperation resulting from a perception of shared interests. The paradoxical type of relationship between adversaries is not uncommon in international relations.
