The Short Sunderland was one of the most famous seaplanes of World War II. It came into service at the end of 1938 with RAF Coastal Command. The Short Sunderland was a robust and reliable aircraft fully able to meet the demands of maritime recon and patrol. Its four Bristol Pegasus radial engines robust hull structure guaranteed long range performance, even in tough weather conditions. Its offensive load, consisting of depth charges and bombs, was successfully deployed in anti-submarine operations during the “Battle of the Atlantic”. Kit features six decal versions.
