Author Steve Tomecek is a former schoolteacher, now writing science books for children full time. He has a full schedule of school visits throughout the year, and in between attends conferences where he actively promotes all of his books. Steve is the author of four other books in the Jump Into Science series: DIRT, MOON, STARS, and SUN. He lives with his family in Bellrose, NY.
